Day One – Arrival & Girls’ Night

Upon arrival to The Charleston Chestnut Mansion, we personally greet you to assist you with your bags and accommodations. Drop off your luggage, freshen up and grab a beverage from the fridge, and get ready to hit the town!

Shop King Street

Head 3 blocks West to King Street, named among the top 10 Best Shopping Streets in America by U.S. News & World Report. You will find everything from brand name retailers like Anthropologie and Kate Spade to local boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops.

Drinks at The Market Street Pavilion

Drop off your shopping bags and sip a pre-dinner drink. One block East from your suite on the corner of Market and East Bay Streets, you will find The Market Street Pavilion. Enjoy the view of the setting sun from their rooftop bar.

Dinner at Anson’s Restaurant

Stroll one block down Market Street to Anson Street and enjoy the finest in Lowcountry cuisine at Anson’s Restaurant, a long-time Charleston favorite known for their flounder entrée. Hint: we are friends with the owner, so let us make reservations for you. 😉

Dessert at Peninsula Grill

Coconut cake! Those are the only two words you need to remember. This cake is to die for! Get back on Market Street and walk about 2 blocks until you are almost at the intersection of Market and Meeting Streets.

Signature Drinks at Cocktail Club

Catch an Uber or Lyft (unless you really need to walk off that cake) and head about a mile away to The Cocktail Club at 479 King Street. This lounge is dedicated to the art of the cocktail. Sip on an extensive selection of house-made infusions and rare spirits and enjoy the rooftop terrace, featuring a garden that provides fresh garnishes for many of the cocktails.

Day Two – Beach Day

Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit and leave the rest to us. We will arrange private transportation to take you to Station 21 on Sullivan’s Island. We provide you with beach chairs along with a beach bag loaded with all the necessities like towels, sunscreen, drinks, and snacks.

Lunch at The Obstinate Daughter

Take a break from the sun and walk up Station 21 to Middle Street, then take a left to find yourself at one of Charleston’s most famous restaurants The Obstinate Daughter.

Dinner and Drinks at Poe’s Tavern

Once the sun has faded and you’re ready for some island nightlife, walk back up Station 21 to Middle Street and turn right. Poe’s Tavern (named for Edgar Alan Poe, who was stationed at Sullivan’s Island Fort Moultrie during his time in the Army) is located between Station 22 and Station 22 ½. The fish tacos are a must! There are several other restaurants and bars in this same area, so enjoy the evening and hop around from place to place.
