Payments and Cancellations
Full payment – room rates, taxes, and fees – is expected at time of booking. Cancellations: If the cancellation is done at least 30 days prior to scheduled arrival, a full refund is given. Any cancellation done less than 30 days prior to arrival are not subject to a refund. Cancellations must be made by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on the appropriate day. An early departure will not be refunded. Payment and cancellation terms are to be upheld unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing.
Reservations made through a 3rd party booking site are held to the payment and cancellation terms of that site.
The maximum allowable occupancy for the Jasper Suite is 4 people, the Chestnut Suite is 4 people, the Steeple Suite is 6 people, and the Sail Loft is 6 people. At the time of booking, you will be asked to confirm the number of guests staying in your reserved suite(s). We are not able to accommodate additional guests per suite for any reservation.
We offer one complimentary on-site parking space with each suite reserved. Additional on-site parking spaces are an additional fee of $50 per space per night and subject to availability. Please notify us upon booking if you have a vehicle and, if so, how many.
Parking spaces are assigned with each reservation, and guests are required to park in their designated space(s) only.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm or later, and check-out time is no later than 10:00 am. Upon booking, we will provide details on how to access your suite(s).
The Charleston Chestnut Mansion is a smoke-free establishment. No smoking is allowed anywhere inside the building or on the property grounds. Smoking on the property is subject to a penalty.
No parties or events are allowed.
We do accept dogs of certain age, breed, and size and allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Our pet fee is $100 per pet per reservation and require signature on our Pet Policy.
We welcome children of all ages. We have a pack ‘n play in each suite and are happy to assist – at an additional fee – with arranging delivery and pick-up of children’s items, including but not limited to cribs, highchairs, and toys.
Damages & Breakages
Guests are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask you report any incidents at the time they occur. We typically do not charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant in accordance with the rental agreement and security deposit.
We do not accept liability for damage, loss, or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.
Any data collected during the course of this booking may be stored on our computer(s). With your permission, we may contact you from time to time about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
